Highway and Rail

Move fast on the ground: Four-lane highway and Class I rail.

State, U.S. and Interstate Highways:
U.S. Highway 301 and Georgia Highways 17, 21, 24 and 73 provide rapid trucking access, while nearby Interstate connections include I-95, running the length of the Eastern Seaboard from Miami Beach through New York City and beyond, and I-20 providing east-west access as far as Texas.

Class I and short line rail connections:
Operating over 20,000 miles of track, Norfolk Southern is your company’s Class I connection to 22 Eastern states, the District of Columbia and Ontario, Canada. The state-owned shortline, Ogeechee Railway, runs near the Screven County Airport Industrial Park, connecting Sylvania to Norfolk Southern rail in Ardmore.
